That said, running a small business is no easy feat. Each year, about 600,000 businesses close, with an additional 200,000 closing during the high time of the pandemic. One of the most difficult parts of being a small business is needing to adapt to change. If our doors couldn?t be safely open for customers, then we had to figure out a way to provide an easy experience that still allowed them to view our tile without stepping into the showroom. And thus, we began hosting virtual consultations. While not easy and we missed interacting face-to-face with each other and our clients, it was a necessary measure we were happy to take in order to do our part in keeping people safe.
According to the?Bureau of Labor Statistics?data, only 34% of small businesses make it to their 10th anniversary. Short-term success often rarely translates to long-term stability. As we approach 50 years, we?re humbled to know we fall outside of this statistic. We?re so thankful to be here. This business is our heart, passing down through the generations of our family. We genuinely care about what we do every single day, from each customer and manufacturer relationship to the wellbeing of our employees to the quality of our products. It has always been of utmost importance to us to provide outstanding customer service and products that are top of the line. This has given us the ability to supply the most extensive selection of tile in the area so we can best serve designers, homeowners, contractors, and architects.
