Tile Wholesalers of Rochester was founded in 1972 by Alan Firkins. Alan believed relationships were the key to success and built a company based on superior service. In the early years of the company, the tile business was conducted on a wholesale level, working directly with contractors or tile installation companies, hence the “Wholesalers” in its name. Today, Alan’s son Dave applies that same philosophy of providing superior service to not only contractors, but architects, designers and homeowners as well. In 2021, Conor Firkins joined the company and the third generation is now here to carry on the customer service focus that has been our hallmark. 2022 marks 50 years for Tile Wholesalers of Rochester!! As a second generation owner, Dave was born and raised in the tile business. Celebrating 50 years in 2022, Dave looks back with pride and looks ahead with excitement about all the new and innovative ways tile and tile related products are being used. As the president and owner of the company, he is passionate about continuing his father’s legacy and bringing a better tile shopping experience to commercial and residential customers alike.

Kathryn is passionate about the company her husband has grown and focuses on supporting Tile Wholesalers mission to provide the best products and service to their customers. Kathryn can be found working with customers in the showroom as well as handling marketing and managerial functions behind the scenes. Kathryn is rewarded by seeing her customers happy and her employees fulfilled.

Much like his father Dave, Conor grew up around the tile industry and is proud to begin the third generation at Tile Wholesalers. Conor is responsible for growing and developing new markets and continuing to provide the highest level of service to all of our customers. As Tile Wholesalers approaches its' five decade mark, Conor has set his sights on where we will be for decades to come and that means a continuation of putting selection, service and most importantly our customers first!
Kaci Anderson
DESIGN SPECIALIST/SHOWROOM SUPERVISOR

As a showroom design consultant, Kaci is responsible for helping clients select and order tile for their homes. No project is ever too big or too small for her, she loves seeing her clients’ faces when they visualize the project coming together. Outside of design and customer service, Kaci enjoys landscaping her property, attending concerts, snowboarding and reading.

COMMERCIAL A&D SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Alissa is responsible for providing architects, designers and contractors with product information, samples and technical data. She ensures their selections are in line with the aesthetics, budget and function of the desired space. She is driven by educating her clients, and providing impeccable customer service for each client. Alissa has a background in fine arts, and enjoys exploring music and art in her free time.

In his Sales/Account Services position, Eric works in several facets of our operation by providing customer service and product education. He enjoys helping people design and install something they are proud of. Outside of work, Eric enjoys helping out at his church, Red Cross and gardening.

Simon Turner
OPERATIONS MANAGER

As Operations Manager, Simon is responsible for order maintenance and management, including purchasing and inventory control, and warehouse oversight. His close attention to detail ensures that everything will run smoothly and accurately. On off days, Simon can be found spending time with his family and enjoying “real football”, known here in the U.S. as soccer.

Karina is originally from Westchester County and getting to know Rochester. As our resident "stone girl," Karina loves collecting rocks and she has worked in the stone and tile industry for over 8 yrs with a background in slabs and luxury stone sales.
She enjoys working on full home renovations as well as smaller projects and likes to guide clients on finding the right product/look that is a perfect fit for their lifestyle.
During her free time, you will find Karina up on a mountain, traveling or finding the best food!
Karina is fluent in Spanish and happy to assist our Spanish community.
Liz Valencia

Liz is originally from Westchester County and moved to Rochester in 2021. She got a taste for sales and the tile world from her sister who also work's at Tile Wholesalers. Liz is super passionate about helping people make their house into a home. On her spare time, she likes to read fantasy books and organize her home. She is an avid animal lover and has been vegan since 2018. Liz is fluent in Spanish, y está emocionada en ayudarte en tu próximo proyecto!
