designing a kid-friendly bathroom

When designing for kids, we love to keep things colorful and fun. Using tile in a child?s bathroom is a great way to mix and match patterns, incorporate a fun color scheme, and design a space they?ll be excited to use. We?ve put together a list of several of our favorite bathrooms full of colorful tiles by our manufacturers.

This tile by Walker Zanger is the perfect fit for a shared bathroom. We love the light pink and powder blue hues reminiscent of cotton candy, and the unique pattern adds visual interest. The featured tile is?Pietta Donovan Ceramic Collection?in the shape Marabou.?

Keep things bright and playful by using a lively aqua tile such as Pratt and Larson?s 5??Hexagons. Complement the floor by adding the?Large Elongated Ogee?by Pratt and Larson in the shower and mix up the color scheme by adding orange and yellow as shown in this bathroom. The manufacturer recommends using a matte glaze on the bathroom floor to avoid slipping and sliding.

We?re loving the unique shape of this Stellar tile by Sonoma Tilemakers. Featured above is?Caicos?in the color Stone Blue, available in over 40 shapes. This tile is the perfect start to a nautical-themed bathroom.

Go bold with Crossville?s?Color by Numbers Collection. These tiles are available in over 15 highly saturated colors and come in a glossy or satin finish. The color shown is Eleventh Hour, a beautiful springtime green.

Create the perfect beach-themed bathroom using?Tozen 2 x 6 Brick in Antimony Silk. This translucent glass tile by Lunada Bay Tile is available in 19 colors, 16 patterns, and two finishes. We love the variety of blues in this shade that remind us of moving water.
