Coverings Recap

May 23rd, 2022

by Tile Wholesalers of Rochester

In April, Dave, Conor, and Alissa attended Coverings, the preeminent event for the ceramic tile and natural stone industry in North America. This year’s event was held in Las Vegas. It’s always incredible to see the massive amount of contributors, upwards of 750 from around the globe! Many of our personal favorites were there as well, which you’ll see highlighted in this blog.

Along with featuring contributors from over 30 countries, Coverings is also an educational experience. As the largest stone and tile conference in North America, it’s a wonderful opportunity to stay in the know regarding innovative new trends. It’s also a chance to network and chat with other industry professionals, as it draws a vast crowd of thousands, including distributors, retailers, fabricators, contractors, specifiers, architectural and design professionals, builders, real estate developers, as well as journalists, reporters, and bloggers who cover the vital tile and stone industry. It’s truly unlike anything else in the states.

We do our best to make a point to go every year as a way of furthering our own education and seeing friends and contacts. The new connections we make are also invaluable. Keep reading to see some of our favorite highlights!

We loved this ultra-modern dual-sink display featuring textured wall tile by Anatolia. So unique and eye-catching!

Our favorites at Crossville Inc had this beautiful display featuring porcelain panels, glass mosaics and porcelain tile. The tongue-in-cheek phrase gave us a laugh.

Always a great booth - our friends at Walker Zanger dazzled with this stunning display.

We certainly were “wow”ed by WOW’s captivating presentation.

And check out these tile houses for your furry friends! So fun seeing these products on a smaller scale.

As you can see, we had a blast! We’re already looking forward to next year’s event which will be in Orlando, Florida. A big thank you goes out to Dave, Conor, and Alissa for attending and bringing back all they learned.
